The paths we take in life are sometimes straight with the vanishing point clearly to be seen in the distance. Other times the path ahead is twisted and obscure. In photography, as in life, our job is to follow the path but not too precisely. One should always be open to the grace notes that lead to interesting tangents that are the true point.
